This Privacy Policy applies to the PipeDraft Studio app on Google Play and the Flowline Pro app on the Apple App Store. They are the same app, published under a different name in each store (together, "the App").
The App is developed and published by Sector3Software ("Sector3Software", "we", "our", or "us"), a software company based in Ontario, Canada. Sector3Software is the developer named in the App's Google Play and App Store listings and is responsible for your information under this policy.
This policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email, and login credentials.
- Project content you create in the app, including isometric layouts and notes.
- Device and usage data for app performance, diagnostics, and security.
- Product analytics events (such as feature usage, screen views, and interactions) collected through PostHog to help us understand how the app is used.
How we use information
- To provide and improve app features.
- To sync and back up project data.
- To communicate important service, billing, and support updates.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers only as needed to operate the App. This includes PostHog, our product analytics provider, which processes usage data on our behalf under its own privacy commitments.
Analytics
We use PostHog to collect and analyze product analytics that help us understand how the App is used and to improve the app. PostHog may process information such as device and usage data, events, and approximate location derived from IP address. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing jparkin@sector3software.ca from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. Analytics data held by PostHog is deleted or anonymized according to its retention settings.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also stop using the App at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The App is a professional tool for plumbing design and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
